Synergy server on raspberry pi to control mobile device (e.g. Android)

For a time, I'm looking for a solution to use a mobile device as a desktop replacement. While connecting the device to a external display is very easy (e.g. via MHL), using an external mouse and keyboard always makes problems. If using MHL, there is no more possibilty to connect USB mice or keyboards. If using bluetooth for that, it get in the way with the wifi connection.

As synergy can share keyboard and mouse for Android and iOS devices, I wondered if it is possible to run synergy on a raspberry as server and share the keyboard and mouse connected to the raspberry.

Does synergy already run on raspberry as a server?

I know, that with synergy normally the client system is controlled when leaving the screen on the host system, but may it also be possible to always control the client?
