How to install Synergy on Cent-OS 6.5

Hi,

I want to share my mouse and keyboard from my Winsows 7 machine to my CentOS (live DVD) install. I am a noob when it comes to Linux....

I downloaded the version of Synergy for Red Hat since I read that CentOS is based on Red Hat.. but when trying to install, I get an error message: "synergy-1.4.17-1.i686 requires libstdc++.so.6 (GLIBCXX_3.4.15). I tried to do a search on that.. but didn't yield something I could understand.

I tried installing the other version of Synergy, but when I double-click on the package, I get two tar.gz files... do I need to untar them and compile them..?

Anybody had any luck installing Synergy on CentOS and sharing mouse and keyboard with a Windows machine?

Thanks

PS: I am looking for a solution that replicates InputDirector.
