Since installing synergy my explorer.exe crashes on start up and continues to do so on a cycle, can't even open a folder without it restarting. In safe mode I was able to enter folders and the Control panel/Programs and Features, and uninstall other software, BUT NOT synergy. I get this error on attempt:
The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance.
So basically my computer has been rendered useless... I was thinking to uninstall the folder manually using another hard disk as a master and this one set as slave, to get rid of the files, but I am not sure that this will fix the situation... Would this work? Are there other files I need to delete/adjust? Or should I approach this differently?
