So here is my setup. At home I have a 27 inch iMac. For work i have a Macbook Pro w/ Retina display. Recent Mac's have a neat feature whereby connecting the two together via thunderbolt port, allows one of them to become a display for another.
The iMac has an Apple wireless mouse and keyboard connected to it. My desire is to get home from work, connect my MBPr to the iMac, use the iMac as a large screen for my MBPr and use my work applications to finish out my day(time tracking, personnel review). This works great as it is now, I have to use the build in keyboard and trackpad on the laptop as expected. I would like to be able to use the keyboard and mouse already connected to the iMac instead.
I was curious if synergy could be configured in such a way as to allow this. If anyone knows, or could test this I would be grateful and would be happy to become a Synergy Premium user.
