Mouse select doesn't work on 1.4.12

Hi,

was scratching my head as to why I couldn't select text with the cursor, then saw this post: http://www.sevenforums.com/software/257639-mouse-wont-select-text-after-typing.html

If I turn off Synergy, all good, but with it on, I can't select text with the cursor.

My system is: Win8 Enterprise 8G RAM, i7 Dell Latitude E6420

I'm using Synergy with my new Surface Pro - I use it as an extra monitor, with the laptop keyboard/mouse - very cool and productive!

Hope this is being fixed - worth me adding another $10 to bump the priority!
