I just upgraded Ubuntu from 12.04LTS to 14.04LTS. I have been running the latest synergy-1.4.17-r2055-Linux-i686.deb and on U 12.04 i would have the synergy icon with the checkmark. Since upgrading to 14.04LTS synergy is running but the tray icon wont display. I've verified that I'm running the downloaded version and when I click on the Menu icon it flashes and then closes.
Looking at the processes the command being run is: /usr/bin/synergys -f --no-tray --debug NOTE --name server1 --log /var/log/synergy.log -c ~/synergy.conf --address :24800
How do i get it to execute without the --no-tray option using the menu item?
