I am using Synergy on a Windows 7 computer and a Windows XP computer, connected with a LAN cable.
I am using the Xp as the server, and the Win 7 as the client.
When I start Synergy on both, the server (XP) logs the following:
"NOTE: accepted client connection NOTE: disconnecting client "XXX" NOTE: client "XXX" has been disconnected WARNING: Unrecognized client name "XXX", check server config" with XXX being the client name.
The Client (Win 7) logs the following:
"ERROR: server refused client with name "franslight-NB" WARNING: failed to connect to server: server refused client with our name"
Thus there is communication, but the server is dropping the client.
I tried swapping the server and the client, but I get the error at the client
"WARNING: failed to connect to server: No route to host", with no response from the server.
