Been using Synergy for years on PCs, have donated several times. Recently, I put it on my mac laptops. One macbook is fairly new, running 64 bit 10.8.5. The other mac is older, running 32 bit 10.6. When I configure the new mac as the server and the old mac as the client, the new mac sees the old mac connect, it says "accepting client connection", but the old mac can't tell it's connected. It's like one-way communication, the new mac hears the old one, but the old mac can't hear the new one.
When I mac the old mac the server, and the new mac the client, the new mac can't connect to the old one, and the old one never hears the new mac's connection request.
I've turned off the firewall feature on both macs and I've made sure that both are running on the same port.
