I know this is kind of a weird question. But let's say for some reason someone wanted to actually stop Synergy. You know.. kind of like how any application I've ever used in my entire life could be stopped when the user wanted to.
I know that merely opening up the Synergy utility and clicking Stop has no effect since despite it changing the text displayed in the lower left to "Synergy is not running" it clearly still is since I'm able to move my mouse over to the other computer's display as per usual.
So how am I supposed to temporarily stop Synergy from running so I can play a full screen game without the game minimizing constantly?
Oh and btw, I tried ticking the box next to the option described by the text "Don't take foreground window on Windows servers"
This had no effect.
I don't understand why Synergy needs to run as a Windows service and why there is no option to simply run it as an application. (yes I went to settings and set it to run it as a desktop application (legacy) instead of a service. Yet I still see it as a service in my Services list. And the only difference this makes is that I can no longer start the server.. yet it is still working.
