Synergy conf. for multiple screens on two linux machines

Hello there,

I have a problem that is driving me insane. I have searched all corners of the internet and haven't been able to find a solution.

Basically this is the setup I've got. I have TWO Linux machines, Sys1 & Sys2. Each one has FOUR monitors, defined as Sys1:0.0 (2 monitors), Sys1:0.1 (2 monitors), Sys2:0.0 (2 monitors) & Sys2:0.1 (2 monitors). Eight monitors in total. Please look at the picture to see how they are set up. https://www.dropbox.com/s/trml5fkrxiwxp0b/Screen%20Setup_rcs.jpeg

The way I need the screens set up in Synergy is:

Sys1:0.0
up = Sys1:0.1
right = sys2:0.0

Sys1:0.1
up = Sys2:0.1
down = Sys1:0.0

Sys2:0.1
down = Sys1:0.1

The main issue is that I'm having trouble defining the screen names like 0.0, 0.1 etc. When I enter the screen names like this in the .conf file, a error message comes up when I try to start Synergy on the server, Sys1.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.

Cheers,
Russel
