I'm trying to set up Synergy to control my MacBook Pro from my iMac (both on Mac OS X 10.8.4). I managed to set-up the server alright, but I can't add my MBP as client in the Server Configuration screen, since my MBP's screen name is too long (36 characters). The input field cuts off everything over 32 characters. Entering the IP address also doesn't work, since the first character apparently can't be a number. Any ideas? Apart from renaming my MBP that is.
